Lunar New Year 2023 in California

My Husband Dennis and I had a great time at the Lunar New Year celebration organized by the Vietnamese Employee Association of Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services. This association was established in 1982 which has been exactly four decades. As for me, I have joined this special event ever since I worked for the county in early 2001 to this day even three years after I retired the county career. I love it very much! I love the Lion Dance to kick off the event, the fashion show, the music and the great food. What I love even more than before is being able to see the familiar faces again after the pandemic. I’m truly grateful for all of us overcoming the trying time.

Before I left home yesterday, I put 20 business pens in my purse , but I only gave away half and that is including the children 😁😍. I guess I was shy talking to others about what I do now. I have an issue which I need help professionally. In my eyes, I treat everyone fairly and equally regardless of their age, race, religion, gender, but I do have a hard time being around successful people or people with higher status than I do. It’s like an invisible wall I’ve built among us. I don’t know where and how I got this issue, but I know I have to leave it behind in 2022!

Thank you VEALAC for the great night. Thank you for all your hard work! I look forward to seeing you again in 2024. ♥️
