Mother’s Day 2018

Updated: Jan 5, 2023

I woke up at four in the morning to a loud noise. I thought it was coming from the neighbor’s, so I closed my windows, but soon I realized my television in the living room was on at the maximum volume. I couldn’t run fast enough to turn it off, due to the fear that it must have been bothering my neighbor so much because their house is only separated from ours by a thin wall 😂 We had a power outage last night from 6:00 p.m to this morning. I suppose my daughter didn’t turn off the TV appropriately before the power outage. Here I am one hour and a half later staying awake to the Mother’s Day. I just checked my email and received an email from Dr. Anthony Cao who sent me an audio music file last night where he paid someone to record a song, “Do You?”. The lyrics were written by me in my published book of poetry. Listening to an angelic voice early in the morning which brought back some melancholic memories. It was my 40th birthday gift when Dr. Cao turned my poem into music, and now I feel it’s also for my Mother’s Day present. Thank You! Dr. Cao will include video in the television book interview segment which will be broadcast the end of this month. I’m looking forward to the interview and the book signing in a couple weeks. Only three more days to the day of the interview on the Vietnamese station. I feel it more today! I’m going to stay focus in the next couple days on how to speak fluency in Vietnamese with the complete thought. I have not spoken much in Vietnamese for years. My husband, Dennis and I celebrated Mother's Day with our mom yesterday because he is not available today. I love her very much. She’s 85 year-young, but she is still very active and healthy. She is sweet and kind. She always gives me a hug and a kiss just like she does it to everyone. She always asks about my little family. Later today at 9 a.m. I will join her and my sisters-in-law for breakfast. In the evening, I’ll be having dinner with my children and baby Jayden. In between the breakfast and dinner, I’ll be going to the Calvary Chapel alone. I now love to listen and write down the words in the Bible. I love to sing along and pray too. I trust the Lord and pray with all my heart always. I pray for my two mothers, one in Vietnam and one here in America, to always have good health and live in abundance of love. I pray for my husband, my children, and my baby Jayden to always be protected by the Holy Spirits. I pray for my daughter soon find her true love who will love her and her baby with all his heart. I pray for being able to make extra money to support my family. I am joyful for the love and blessings bestowed on me and my family. I am grateful for everything I have. Thank You! Happy Mother’s Day! ❤️ Crystal H. Vo
